I love my DS Lite. It's far from new - oh no, by the time it got into my hands, my brother had already been using it for a year! He got the new DS - what the heck? I'm the older sibling!! Arrgh! Anyway, I've had it for two years now. It's a basic Polar White DS Lite, but I like putting all sorts of stickers on it :) I use it for three things primarily: - DS Kanji Dictionary As a Japanese student, this cartridge is...awesome. Seriously. It turns the DS into a Japanese -> English, English -> Japanese dictionary, and the touch screen will let you input kanji and kana and looks 'em up...SO much easier than flipping through a paper kanji dictionary! Seriously. Plus it's cool to be able to use a DS in class ![]() - GBA Games I have two favorite GBA games: Pokemon Pinball and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. I play them often...but my boyfriend has all the high scores on Pinball. Arrr. - DS Games (of course!) There are two games I play primarily when the DS is not a kanji dictionary or a Game Boy. The first is Planet Puzzle League - I swear I love every incarnation of this game. Every so often I get my butt whipped by people I play with, but it's good. Usually it's me doing the butt-kicking! But yeah. I could sit and play that for hours. The other game I just got the other day - Pokemon Platinum! Good stuff. Pokemon Diamond (the original reason I got the DS) actually bored me to tears, but I find myself addicted to Platinum because it's Japanese. I look forward to being able to battle all sorts of people on the WiFi network. Plus, it's awesome living in the future - it came out last Saturday and it hasn't even been announced in the US. So yeah! Love my DS :) It took a while to grow on me, but now I can't give it up! |

Mine is the phat one. Though I like the Lite better. My aunt bought it to me when there is no DS Lite yet. I lost the styluses and it's hard to find them in stores. I found some DS styluses but it's for the Lite. So you also like Harvest Moon?

Hmm, you could always use a regular stylus pen...I just got this really cool four-way pen that can be two different pens, a pencil, and a stylus, and it's really good for using in class. I can switch between the DS and my notebook almost flawlessly :D (Also, I play Pokemon with my thumbs. No stylus needed there.) But yes! I adore Harvest Moon :) I haven't tried the DS ones, but I see no need to...since I already love the GBA version so much! |

Cool! If I have that pen, I just hope I will not mistakenly use the pen for the DS. Yeah the GBA version is great! Is is great to play Pokemon on DS? |

My brother got a blue DS lite two or so weeks before Easter (What the...?) earlier this year. The games I can remember off the top of my head we own are Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble; Pokemon Diamond; Harvest Moon DS; Starfox DS; Super Mario Bros. DS (or whatever the title is); Wario Ware, Touched!; Elite Beat Agents; and Brain Age 2. I've barely been able to touch it, but when I do get to play I like Wario Ware or Elite Beat Agents, both of which are fun and satisfy my love for quirky humor. Brother has also had me play some of his battles in "Diamond," though honestly I'm just not a fan of most post-Johto Pokemon games; they just don't feel right ever since "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" was dropped... @_@ Edited by Kady the Red Panda, Sep 20 2008, 02:10 AM.

Cool! You have a lot. If I'm your neighbor, may I borrow Brain Age 2, the Wario Ware or your other games? I only have two: Nintendogs: Dalmatian and Friends and The Sims 2 Pets (Warning: Do not buy this.) I hope someday, I can find a stylus that will fit in the stylus slot of my DS because I missed the way I put the stylus in and out that slot. |

YOU HAVE NINTENDOGS. Maybe not Brain Age 2 since Luke plays it at night, but Wario Ware? Sure.

Yeah, I have. You may borrow it since I do not play it that much. It's actually fun, but if you already played about a hundred times and have unlocked almost all unlockable dogs and items, it'll make you sick. I wanted to borrow Harvest Moon but I have guessed your sister plays it always. |

1) Judging by my time schedule, I probably wouldn't be able to play it. I borrowed "Eclipse" (3rd Twilight book) from a friend, but I haven't gotten to read it... four weeks later. XD 2) Yep, sister wouldn't let you. Sorry...(And turns out, we don't have Cute (but my sister wants it; I'm gonna go correct my list right now.) |
